FORNARI PASSIONE ROSSA

Ferrari history, one model at a time.

FPR

WHY FORNARI PASSIONE ROSSA?

This 1:18 Ferrari collection is my tribute to Il Commendatore—his vision, determination and ingenuity—and to the courageous drivers who transformed the Cavallino Rampante into a legend.

I have spent years studying Enzo Ferrari’s life, the history of the Scuderia and the people whose skill and courage made Ferrari one of the world’s most evocative marques. Through race-correct models representing different eras, drivers and competitions, Fornari Passione Rossa preserves and shares the stories behind the cars—one model, one driver and one race at a time.

The Collection Continues

The next chapters are taking shape.

Every model raced by Scuderia Ferrari during its formative years.

The Early Scuderia’s Drivers

Every driver who competed in more than three races for the Scuderia during this period.

The Story

A lifelong passion, preserved in miniature.

Eight moments that transformed a passion into a documented record of Ferrari racing history.

The beginnings of a lifelong passion for motor racing in Argentina
01Argentina

Where It Started

My passion for motor racing began long before I ever thought of building a collection. Growing up in Argentina, Juan Manuel Fangio was part of the mythology of the sport, and Formula 1 quickly became something much more than a…

The early years of the collection

The Collection Begins

I began collecting Ferrari models in 1995. At first, the approach was simple: I bought Ferrari models that I liked. The cars were beautiful objects in their own right, but the collection did not yet have a defined historical structure.

A different way of collecting during the Italy years

A Different Way of Collecting

Living in Italy changed the way I understood the hobby. I discovered specialized model builders and craftsmen capable of recreating cars, liveries and race configurations that the major manufacturers had never produced. Suddenly, I…

Ferrari 312 T2 representing a specific moment in Ferrari racing history
04The Turning Point

Not Just a Model. The Car.

The real turning point came with a Ferrari 312 T2 representing Carlos Reutemann at Monza in 1976. I realized that what interested me was no longer simply owning a Ferrari 312 T2.

A Collection With a Purpose

From that point on, the collection began to grow with a very different purpose. Formula 1 and Formula 2 became its backbone, but the scope gradually expanded to include Ferrari sports cars, Le Mans, Mille Miglia and, eventually,…

A major milestone in the Ferrari Formula 1 and Formula 2 collection
062021

A Major Milestone

By 2021, I had reached one of the goals that once seemed almost impossible: representing every Ferrari Formula 1 and Formula 2 car that had officially raced for Scuderia Ferrari from 1948 through 2021.

Ferrari Recognition and the Curated Passion photography session

Ferrari Recognition

That milestone eventually reached Ferrari through my friend Marcos Neukirchner . Ferrari decided to tell the story of the collection in The Official Ferrari Magazine . The interview was conducted online, and a professional…

Fornari Passione Rossa

Fornari Passione Rossa continues to evolve. Today, the objective is not simply to display a collection of miniature Ferraris. It is to use those models to document Ferrari racing history — one car, one driver, one race and one…

Beyond the Collection

The places and experiences behind the passion.

Sharing the races, museums and exhibitions I have attended through the years—experiences that deepened my passion and are reflected throughout this collection.

More than a collection.
A lifelong passion preserved in miniature.
