About me

Born in Argentina. Powered by red.
I grew up where motorsport sits just behind fútbol—and where Formula 1, led early by Juan Manuel Fangio, felt like a national heartbeat. With so many Italian roots in our culture, loving Ferrari isn’t unusual. As the great‑grandson of an Italian, I’m very much part of that story.

The first spark (1971)
At eleven, I found my father’s collage of Fangio—surrounded by the names of his 1950 wins with Alfa Romeo. I still keep it. He told me the stories; I read the books; I learned about Fangio’s legend—and about José Froilán González, the “Cabeza de Hierro.”

Becoming a fan (1972–1974)
I started following Grands Prix in 1972. Carlos Reutemann had just arrived in F1 with Brabham. And then there were the red cars. As the old saying goes: ask a child to draw a car and he’ll paint it red. Ferrari was the lone Italian team among a sea of British outfits—another reason it felt like home. In 1974 I attended my first Argentine GP; seeing the Ferraris of Niki Lauda and Clay Regazzoni finish 2nd and 3rd lit the fuse for good. From then on, I was—and remain—a tifoso della Scuderia.

From tifoso to curator
That boyhood awe matured into a lifelong project: telling Ferrari’s racing story in 1:18 scale. I don’t just collect models; I research, commission and modify them to match specific cars on specific days—the drivers, the trim, the decals, the history. It’s my way of honoring the people who designed, built and raced these machines.

Why I share all this
Fornari Passione Rossa is simply the most faithful way I know to pass along what caught me in 1971 and never let go. If you feel it too, welcome—you’re among friends.
